Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight 2012
1st - 16th September 2012

Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight is the annual celebration of the country's fantastic produce which takes place every September. Managed by Scotland Food & Drink since 2009, the Fortnight is more successful every year with more than 200 events taking place across the country in 2011.

The Fortnight took place 3rd-18th September 2011, participants included multiple and smaller retailers such as independent delicatessens and farm shops, food festivals, Farmers' Markets, food groups, visitor attractions and restaurants who are celebrating the Fortnight with a range of activities from in-store tastings to special events and menus. In addition several multiple retailers supported the Fortnight with activities such as running promotions and tastings.

Dates for next year's Fortnight have been confirmed as 1st-16th September 2012.
