Each Saturday during Flavour Fortnight the team at John D Owen
& Son will be putting togther 3 course meals in stages
-starters the first weekend, mains the second and then desserts.
Deli Day on the 25th August will show you some easy ways to use
local produce to create an antipasti platter using produce from the
likes of Marrbury Smokehouse and Galloway Farmhouse Cheese. Meaty
Mains on 1st September will introduce you to exceptional local
meats, such as saltmarsh lamb, black spot pork and local beef. As
well as recipe ideas you can try some of John D Owen's chef made
ready meals, created using local meats. Sweet Treats on 8th
September will round off your 3 week, 3 course menu with ideas
for using local produce to create delicious desserts, such as
meringues made from local eggs.
